The viral, nematode and fungal diseases that attack tropical crop plants have profound health and economic consequences for some of the developing world’s poorest populations. The Tropical Crops and Biocommodities team have developed novel strategies to provide disease resistance in tropical crops cultivated widely in the South Pacific, South-East Asia, South America and Africa.
